The family produces six different wines, starting from the symbol of the region, the Valpolicella Classico, to continue with the Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso and the prince of the territory Amarone della Valpolicella.
They are all produced with the autochthone grapes, in different percentage, Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and Oseleta. To conclude the selection, Clementi also produces a generic red wine and passito-sweet wine.
Valpolicella Classico aims to be the wine for every occasion, easy to pair, fresh with a nice acidity and cherry notes.
Valpolicella Superiore stands out because of ageing in oak, that makes it more structured wine with a higher alcohol content.
Valpolicella Ripasso, well-known because of the quite unique technique used for the production, reason of the denomination of this wine, through the refermentation of the grapes on the pomace of the Amarone of the same harvest. This procedure gives more roundness and softness, but also power and intensity in therm of color, structure and body.
We end with the prince of Valpolicella, the Amarone. This wine is worldwide recognized for his great structure, elegance, scents of mature fruits, raisin and sour cherries in brandy, but also because of his long vinification. The grapes are dried for four months and the wine is aged for more than five years in oak. L’Amarone of Clementi is released after six seven years after the harvest. Bona, a white wine with mineral notes and aromatic scents, obtained trough fermentation and aging in amphora.
